Physiotherapy helps Renfrew weightlifter achieve gold at Games

SYDNEY, N. S. – With a little help from his friends in the physiotheraphy room, Garry Brydges of Renfrew won the 56-kilogram gold medal in weightlifting Tuesday at the Canada Winter Games. Brydges, who competes for the Ottawa Trojans Weightlifting Club, became the first athlete from the Ottawa Valley to win a gold medal at the Games designed from developing athletes http://www.carpaltunnel-cure.com. When Brydges arrived at the Games, he had little mobility in his right shoulder because of a three-month-old swollen tendon. But after four physiotheraphy treatments in the past three days, Brydges had enough flexibility in the shoulder that had him thinking Ontario record.
